The dream of Micaela Lago and Gabriele Bava came true in 2001, when in November, with the intention of producing great wines, they bought four hectares of land with optimal exposure and a farmhouse located in a small village of Vignale Monferrato, land of origin by Gabriele.
On the basis of the land they decided to plant four grape varieties: barbera, cabernet sauvignon, merlot and pinot noir, so that each could bring richness and expression of the territory in the blends. In 2011 they bought a 60-year-old Malvasia di Casorzo vineyard to support this sweet biodiversity, planting a new vineyard in 2018.
